HyperSnap is a professional screen capture tool. It can capture not only standard desktop programs, but also multimedia, games running in DirectX/Direct3D or 3Dfx Glide modes and frames from many DVD players and other video software. Images can be saved in more then 20 image formats, including BMP, GIF, and JPEG file.

The program can auto-scroll and concurrently capture long web pages and other documents, enabling it to grab more than is visible on the screen. The program integrates with the Windows clipboard.

The advanced captures include multiple screen regions, freehand drawn shapes, and buttons. HyperSnap automates tasks like file saving, printing, FTP upload, image stamping, and more.

Features include region capture, inter graded bitmap editor, capture function - "Multi-Region Capture", "Capture Cursor" option, quick paste feature, images can be displayed at any zoom level, and many image and colour processing, and colour conversion functions.

Other features include handling of 3dfx 32 bit colour mode screens, the ability to set the Windows wallpaper, "send by e-mail" feature, the ability to turn on and off the images displayed next to each menu item, cut-out strip/horizontal or vertical under Image menu, and the ability to add HTML format on Edit/Copy - to paste images to Outlook Express etc.

In this latest version the Image/Shadow function has an extra selection of shadow background colour and the File/Upload to ftp Server function allows you to name and save different "profiles" - that is information about particular ftp servers you use, login names, optionally save passwords for them - useful if you must upload often to different places.
