Sound2Midi intercepts audio signals received from the microphone and determines Pitch, Dynamics and Timing, sending each note as MIDI data straight to your Sequencer.

The process is achieved real-time so by the end of your recording you're ready to replay your transcribed performance using any available MIDI instrument sound. Even creating drum sequences is made possible through the Rhythm mode, enabling you to construct all the instrumental parts of an orchestral score.

You can convert audio received from either the microphone or by importing a WAV file. In microphone mode you just sing or play and it will convert your playing into MIDI sending the results to your sequencer. In Wav import mode, just select a pre-recorded audio file (WAV format) from the WAVE convert dialogue and it will convert and send the results into your sequencer in much the same way as microphone mode. There is also a unique preview mode which lets you listen to the results from within Sound2MIDI prior to sending MIDI events to your sequencer.
